The Trust goes into the New Year with a renewed and healthy vigour. Following our AGM in November we have expanded the Board from 9 to 14 members. We also have new Trust officials with myself being voted in as Chairman following in the footsteps of Mike Freeman, Derrick Smith, Dave Tailby, Mark Bulley, Clive Blanchard etc and, most latterly, Mark Severn who has held the Trust Board together during the Club's recent turbulent times. Sev has stood down as Chairman due to work commitments but I am pleased to say that he still remains on the Board as Secretary/Treasurer. Malc Harris, as Vice Chairman, joins Sev and I as one of the Trust officials.
The Trust is currently experiencing a period of calm and, after a couple of years of fire fighting alongside the Club, we can now refocus on our core aims and objectives as we look to reconnect with our members, Poppies fans and the wider Kettering public.
The Club is an important part of our community and we have all worked hard, alongside Ritchie, to ensure its survival. Now we need to ensure it continues to survive and prosper - something we can only achieve together.
So as we say goodbye to 2014 and look forward to 2015, the Trust would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year!
