Some time ago, the Trust donated money to the club in order to provide a defibrillator. It is an essential life saving step in the chain of survival in the event of cardiac arrest.
It is also vital that the battery is changed periodically to ensure the defibrillator is always ready in case of emergency.
To that end, The Trust has donated £230 to cover the cost of replacing the battery.
Hopefully the unit will never need to be utilised, but it is a great comfort to know that it is ready and waiting just in case.
Many thanks to all those who contribute to the work of the Trust, enabling us to provide continuing support to the club and the fanbase.
